THIS MONTH:
Lily Loves:
- Houseflies and other bugs. (Example: If a fly lands on her arm and then flies away she will follow it around pointing to her arm wanting it to come back.)
-painting the deck with water
-stickers
-coloring
-Daddy (she finally realized that daddy is so much more fun than mommy)
-playdoh
-giving CJ treats
-playing dress up
Lily Hates:
-Physics continue to plague her
Favorite words (Our favorite words that Lily has started saying)
-"Mice" for Ice (Ex: she loves micey water)
-"Shibbers" for shivers
Our two big outings this past month were to Maryville for the 4th of July and to the Knoxville Zoo.
Lily had a great time in Maryville with Nana, Pop, Ross, LG, GG and some other guests. It ended up being too rainy/cloudy for the slip-n-slide or the pool so we settled for bubbles, blueberry picking, a porch dance party and fireworks. Lily did not like the fireworks (even with earplugs in and earmuffs on) until we went inside to watch through the window and keep CJ company.

Since Andy and I were both off on July 6th we opted for a zoo trip. Lily loved looking at the animals especially the meerkats, monkeys and tiger (she requested several times to give the tiger a hug). The highlight of her day was sitting on all the statues and feeding the giraffe.
