November was the month both of the girls had been looking forward to since August. They finally were reunited with their cousins from Maine for 4 glorious days of playing, making huge messes and watching movies. Neither girl was happy when we had to back home on Sunday night. Lily told me she wanted me to quit my job and homeschool her so she could see Hazel and Bea all the time. I’m confused her thought process because Hazel and Bea aren’t homeschooled. Before Thanksgiving the girls went to a Harry Potter themed night for girl scouts, made slime, tailgated a few times and went to a Tennessee game. Other than both girls got their first covid shot and did amazing (no one tried to escape from the CVS). The only side effects were that Lily didn’t feel great for a few days after so I scheduled the 2nd dose for a Friday so we have the weekend to recover.
Lily November Update:
This month Lily was thrilled to get a few days off of school and even more thrilled that she was going to spend them at Nana and Pop’s house with Hazel and Bea. She’s counting down the days until she gets to see her Maine cousins again. I was so proud of both of the girls when they got their Covid shots but I was especially proud of Lily. A few weeks before when she got her flu shot I had to sit on the floor and get her into a bear hug so they could give her the shot. This time she sat calmly on my lap.
This month Lily loves:

-sweet potatoes
-making her Christmas list (even though mommy and Santa have already done their shopping)
Clara November Update:
Clara is still really into gymnastics and school. Every day was a good day and she likes her classmates and her teacher. Clara told me that she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She is always wanting to help out with whatever I’m doing. The girls made up a game called “Granny Arms”. If there was a discussion of the Granny Arms rules, I missed it. The rules seem to consist of screaming bloody murder while being chased around the house by the other sister who is wielding a pair of doll crutches like a large crab claw. I try not to pay too much attention because if I seem interested they might ask me to play.
