May Update (Lily 12, Clara 10)

If April showers bring May flowers this month brought  a child/claw machine hybrid, a confused witch, a new driveway, a possibley broken arm, sidewalk chalk, 10,000 pictues from a photobooth and a 6 hour trip to the emergeny vet for wicker basket ingestion. Can April showers bring this mom a week long vacation with a nap chaser?

Lily's May Update:

Lily is thrilled to be done with the school year and more than ready for the trips and day camps this summer. She played a witch (witch #1 to be specific) in a school play called "Mixed Up Fairy Tales". How were they mixedup you ask? The instead of Hansel and Gretel eating her house it was Cinderella. When we got our driveway repaved both the girls were very excited and it lead to many hours of scootering, roller skating and doing sidewalk chalk.

Clara's May Update:

Clara is excited to finish 4th grade but says she will miss her friends over the summer. She's excited for the next school year so she can start orchestra (violin). At the beginning of the month Clara went to a friends birthday party at Main Event and she got to be a claw machine and pick out a giant inflatable thing from a big bin....which is how we wound up with an over 5 foot tall inflatable rubber chicken that she named "Chicken Bob". Chicken Bob's hobbies include being dressed in clothes, being propped up in the corner of the room and randomly scaring the daylights out of me.
