March Update (Lily 5, Clara 3)

This has been such a busy month for both girls. Lily started soccer, we've been to birthday parties, met a snake, dyed their hair, had a playdate and got new beds. We're thoroughly enjoying the warmer weather and I can't wait until the swimming pool/ water table etc is back in the mix of things to do.

Lily's March Update:
This month Lily started soccer again. She enjoyed it last year so we though she would dive right in.....wrong. She told me several times she didn't want to play because she didn't want to get hot and sweaty. I told her she didn't have to play in the fall but because we signed up for it we were going to finish the spring season. She's still playing in the same age group and practices/ games are 30  minute each (both on Saturday)….but this season her team has more kids and she has a new coach. The first game is said she had a tummy ache and sat out the whole game. For the second game I bribed her with a treat and she played a lot more and enjoyed herself.

What Lily is saying:

Lily "oh.....you really won't"

Clara's March Update:

Clara reminds me of the book Eloise. She's always on the go. She always into something. She's always making up names and tragic stories about her baby dolls.....most of the time the mommy/ daddy of her baby dolls have died. Do you know how weird it is to hear a 3 year old version of the ways mommies and daddies can die? Just yesterday she told me that her mommy died because she drank coffee and watermelon at the same time. Then she will ask me to babysit her babies.....she doesn't pay well.
