July marks the last full month of summer for the McFalls family. In fact, as I sit here typing away the girls are attending their 2nd day of school. This July we were able to squeeze a few more drops out of summer. We celebrated Clara's 1/2 birthday, went to a drive in movie, had sleepovers with both friends and Mamaw, made mud pies at a local stream and visited family in Memphis. Both of the girls also went to Firefly camp at Tremont with Nana and Pop (this is Lily's last year to go to Firefly camp).
Lily July Update:
Lily's favorite part of our trip to Memphis was the zoo splashpad, throwing ping pong balls at the porch ceiling fan and shopping with her great aunt and older cousins. Lily did not enjoy the 6 hour drive both ways. This month Lily learned the downside of staying up until 1:30am at a sleepover. She came home looking (and acting like) a zombie and took a mid afternoon nap.

Clara's July Update:
This year Clara opted for her birthday party to be at a roller rink. Nothing like the fear of a broken limb or a concussion to put someone in a festive mood. Clara has had several cheerleading practices so far and seems to enjoy it although she doesn't like how hot the practices are. She also has spend many hours running a living room ice cream shop. Please don't come to our house hungry unless you like your ice cream made out of playdough or kenetic sand.
