November Updater (Lily 12, Clara 9)

Ok so hear me out. I know we did stuff this month. I promise. I was there for it but I don't have pictures of a lot of it. I know we were busy I took a pie making class, Lily had 2 performances for a school choir and both girls have been playing a lot with their neighbor friends. We celebrated Lily's 12 birthday with a crafting friends sleepover. The rest of the month was full of homework, doctors appointments and finsihing up the soccer season. We went to the movies and saw Wicked and Zootopia 2 and both girls had basketball "drafts" to see what team they're on. 

What Lily likes: 

-walking home from school (she likes that it's quiet)

-basketball

-sleepovers 

-adult coloring books

-teatherball 

What Clara likes: 

-the show Wednesday (Enid is her favorite character)

-helping cook and bake for Thanksgiving

-painting 

-electric blankets

-cooking (mostly scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs on toast) 

What Penny likes:

-chasing the laser pointer

-chewing up things that she had previously ignored for months

-playing with the neighbor dogs

-knocking over small children

-her electric hearting pad...until she started to chew it up 

I've heard tell of women who hit their 40s or 50s and don't care as much anymore. So in the spirit of that we're going to ignore that all the pictures are in the reverse order....and that they're mostly of the dog and food.

I assumed that she meant the people.....she meant the food.

September+October Update (Lily 12, Clara 9)

Ok so I'm going to possibly age myself and also highligh my lack of knowledge around video games. In Mario Kart there are these things on the ground that give you a speed boost for a maybe 30 seconds. I feel like we just ran over of month of speed boosts. For example, I really thought I did a September update...I would have staked some serious money on it... well maybe not money but definatly some Oreos. I would have bet anyone some Oreos that I did a update for September but alas it's no where to be found so buckle up this is going to be a combined update. 

September Update:

Picture it Maryville, TN September 2025....I can't imagine why I forgot to post. We only went boating and swimming, took a donut making class, tailgated several times and family came to visit for a weekend. Also Penny ate Lily's glasses leaving her squinting in class until her new glasses came in. 

October Update: 

This month we were fully emersed in Halloween with several pumpkin patches, seening Beetlejuice Jr. and trick-or-treating. We also went to San Antonio for fall break and saw the riverwalk, an interactive museum, the Tower of America and the Randolph Airforce Base. 

Lily's Fall Update:

With soccer in full swing for both girls, school and Lily's  choir performance called Heart of the Quilt our weeks have been pretty busy. Lily had a great time in San Antonio and loved the riverwalk, the Hopscotch interactive art museum (especailly the light up ball pit) and playing with her great aunt's VR headset. For halloween she dressed as Agnes (a character from season 2 of Wednesday) and decided to carve her pumpkin as a pumpkin eating another pumpkin. 

Clara's Fall Update:

Clara finished up cheer and is almost done with soccer (much to her dismay). She has loved spending time with friends, going to the pumpkin patches and going to San Antonio. In San Antonio she did not like the Tower of America (she doesn't like heights) but loved the riverwalk boat and the lego store. For
Halloween Chara dressed as Enid from Wednesday and decided to carve her pumpkin like a house.
