December (Lily 5, Clara 3)

Ahh....December is always the craziest month of the year. Anytime I finished with something I felt like 15 more things had been added to my to do list. This month included a family wedding and an extended trip, tons of Christmas parties, seeing Santa at least 4 times. Lily told me that she wasn't going to sit on his lap anymore because she already told him what she wanted...I think she was getting concerned about his memory since he kept asking her what she wanted.

Lily's December Update:

Lily has a definite sweet tooth. I'm surprised she hasn't gone through sugar withdrawals. Santa came through for Lily and she got the Barbie Dream Camper that she asked for. Lily was thrilled. Andy was less thrilled by the number of stickers and pieces that went with it.

Loves
-Peter Pan
-Tiger Lily
-puzzles
-Mary Poppins Returns
-wedding (specifically the reception dance floor)
-opening presents
-watching old movies (She calls them "grown up movies")

Hates
-when people look at her if she's trying a new food
-when her cousins drove home
Clara's December Update:

Clara is going through the cutest phase ever where she talks NON STOP (at least we're hoping its a phase....our ears are bleeding). I'm sure what she's saying is adorable but there's just.....so....much.....of.....it. Santa also came through for Clara with some pretend puppies and 2 non  functional old phones (thanks Nana and Pop). Someone suggested we could charge them and turn off all the settings....my response was "why"? She has carried the phones around non-stop and pretends to play games, show pictures of herself as a baby and call people on her phones...they don't need to be charged.

Loves
-umbrellas
-phones
-painting
-puppies
-opening presents
Hates
-the sweet sound of silence

What is Clara saying
"Mommy you are Mr. Waldrop" (I am not, in fact, Mr. Waldrop)
"It is a gift from God!!" (when Lily handed Clara her shoe in the car)
"Cracker Nut"= Nutcracker

I feel like all I have is pictures of Clara from the wedding and that's because Lily spent 99.99% of the reception dancing and all her pictures were blurry.
