January has been a mix of good and not as good. We've gotten to go to a few birthday parties, the zoo and to see Alice in Wonderland at the Knoxville Children's Theater.....also both girls were diagnosed with the Flu and I hurt my neck and was out of commission for a few days. Luckily the girls got their flu shots so they had very mild symptoms. Also, Andy was off work and able to stay home with the girls on the day's I had to work.
Lily's January Update:
Lily handled going back to school wonderfully. There were only a few tears and no tantrums at all. This Lily was awarded a "Good Citizen" award at her school. Clara and I went to the school to watch her ceremony, Lily saw me and did NOT melt down!!! YAY. She was rewarded with some Sonic ice cream after school. At school they just celebrated the 100th day of school and we were asked to glue 100 things to a shirt for Lily to wear to school. Lily chose "popcorn" (white and yellow pom poms).

Clara's January Update:
A fair warning....Clara likes to play pretend. If you come visit she will probably pull you into one of her imaginative world. On Sunday she was a princess who couldn't walk on wood and asked me to carry her over the hard wood floor (I did not). Last Wednesday she was a mechanic ballerina. (as in a mechanic who dances....not a robot ballerina). The good news is that if you play pretend with her she will tell you everything you need to say (Ex: "Pretend dat I am a fairy and you see my wand and you say 'who does dat wand belong to' and den I come out and I am a beautiful fairy and you say 'what a beautiful fairy'.")
