March was such a fun month. Not only did we go to 3 different birthday parties and the zoo but we were able to surprise the girls with a trip to Disney with my side of the family. I told them that we were going to beach for spring break and said that it would be just the 3 of us. So, imagine their surprise when we were joined by their aunt, aunt’s mother and cousins at the airport in Knoxville. Then imagine their surprise when we got to the Atlanta airport and were joined by their great aunt and their aunt, uncle and cousins from Maine. Then imagine their surprise when we get to Orlando and Nana and Pop were there to tell them that instead of the beach we’re going to Disney World. (side note: I feel like I’m doing an infomercial on QVC.... “...but wait there's more”). We were able to spend 2 days at the Magic Kingdom and 1 day each at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. We all had a great time but I think Disney need to change their slogan from “the Happiest place on Earth” to “the most exhausting place on Earth”. To quote my sister on the 3rd or 4th day of the trip: “Every morning when I wake up I think...there’s no way I can do this for another day....and then I do”.
Lily’s March Update
Lily had so much fun at Disney and with her cousins. She was absolutely speechless when we saw them at the airport (they hadn’t seen each other since Thanksgiving). She loved space mountain and thunder mountain. I was super impressed by Lily because she did very little complaining about walking at Disney.

Thunderstorms
Clara’s March Update
Clara was a little skeptical of Disney at first because our first ride was Space Mountain which she was not thrilled with. Our second ride was the people mover (because: no wait) and then a thunderstorm like only Florida can provide blew in and drenched us as we ran for the Carousel of Progress (because: inside). As I was holding Clara’s hand while running through the storm, I heard her yell “I don’t like Disney too much”. Luckily, she had a much better time after a few more rides. Clara learned on the Disney trip that she LOVES rollercoasters. In fact, according to Clara most of them weren’t long enough and she was start to cry at the end because they were over (I’m sure that was really confusing for the people working the rides). Her favorite rides were Slinky Dog Dash, Pirates of the Caribbean, Thunder Mountain and the Barnstormer.
