It's very picturesque at our house right now with several inches of snow. I'm not sure why when doctors talk about all the milestone that your kids are supposed to hit they only focus on walking and talking. For me the much more important milestones are ones like can they climb up giant inflatable slides by themself, can they wipe their own butt and can they make it to the bathroom before they throw up. Today I'm enjoying that wonderful milestone of a quiet house because the girls got themselves ready to go play in the snow without any help from me. Actually.....nope they're back it's really cold outside. Well it was nice when it lasted.
Lily Update:
Lily's had a very busy month with a 2 major things happening. After she had a tooth removed (her last adult tooth to come in was trying to come through the roof of her mout she had extreme pain in her front teeth. After many xrays and appointments it was recommended that she have a root canal on 2 of her front teeth. She did great during the procedure even though she 1)tried to karate kick me, 2) told me she was a "Karen" and "stop filming me" and 3) said she needed to recheck her glassses perscription (she wasn't wearing her glasses.....all while on laughing gas. Her other big thing that happened this month was that she tried out scuba diving. She absolutely loved it and is going to take a class this summer that will get her certified to dive up to 30 feet.
Clara Update:
Things have been a little less exciting for Clara this month. She learned how to play backgammon and consistantly kicks my butt when we play. So far she has enjoyed basketball (although she would prefer not to go to practices) even though we've missed the last two games due to ice and snow. Clara still loves to play the VR headset and go to different worlds. From what I can tell her favorites are a water park, a trampoline park and occasionally a McDonalds.
Penny Update:
Penny enjoys the finer things in life....a pet heating pad on her bed, randomly barking to keep up on high alert and water in any form except when it comes out of a faucet. Her perfect day includes digging up my backyard, doing zoomies around the house and begging Lily for food. She loves the dog park and playing with the neighbor's dogs.
