Overall February was a much healthier month than January was. The girls enjoyed outings to dance class, gymnastics and a bouncy house place. As an added bonus a few days were warm enough to play outside without having to bundle up. We also had a few playdates with kids from our new neighborhood and one from our old neighborhood as well.
Lily's January update:
Lily is still as sweet, smarty, funny and challenging as ever. She loves to draw and color and is always describing drawing that she done at school. She loves playdates and pretend sleepovers with her friends and she's getting to the age where when a friend comes over I don't have to be right there the whole time. (I check in on them occasionally to make sure they haven't performed any animal sacrifices and aren't swinging from the ceiling fans.) Lily had a lot of fun with Valentine's Day this month (AKA she likes any holiday when she gets candy).
Loves:
-smoothies
-Mrs. Pigglewiggle books
-Magic Tree House books
-Olympics
-playing house
-swinging
Hates:
-having to share
What Lily's been saying:
"Happy Motherstimes Day!" (Valentines Day)
Clara's February update:
Clara is funny, sweet and loud. She hates loud noises but loves to yell when she's excited. If she says something to a whisper and you tell her to say it louder she will cover her ears before repeating it in a normal voice. She loves playtime with Lily and her friends. We hosted a playdate for the family that lives next door with 2 little girls. Instead of playing Clara sat on my lap holding as many toys that she could hold in her 2 year old arms and kept repeating "my toys".
Clara likes:
-smoothies
-Cat and the Hat
-Corduroy books
-Playing house
-dancing with mommy
-swinging
Clara hates:
-loud sounds
-diaper changes
What Clara's been saying:
-"Courdabee" (Corduroy)
-"Lily's mama, My mama.....how bout dat"
This month we finally got to get together with our neighbors. The girls loved making new friends.

The girls had fun decorating for Valentines Day
Playdate at the bounce house place
This is a milestone you won't find in any parenting book: when your child can finally go on the blow up slide by themself
I think Clara started to climb out of her bed one night to get her paci (by her foot) and then got tired
All ready for Church
We spent a few afternoons playing outside. The girls love to swing and I ripped out the nasty outdoor carpet out of the top of their playhouse so they can play up there too.
Clara "ORDER FOOD!!"
Mommy "I would like a hamburger and apples and French fries"
