Lily- One Month

I can't believe that Lily is aready 1 month old. Andy and I have enjoyed getting to know our sweet little girl....that and naps....we enjoy our daily naps. One week after we brought her home from the hospital Lily weighed 8lbs 2oz. Two weeks later she's 9lbs 4oz and 21 inches long. She's outgrown almost all of her newborn clothes.

THIS MONTH
Lily loves:
-Tummy time
-Her ladybug crib mirror
-Taking naps on Andy's chest
-Her swing (aka: the one item that has kept me sane so far)

Lily hates:
-Her carseat. Lord help us if she wakes up in her carseat.

Obviously this has been a month of firsts. These include her first time at a resturant, first tailgate (UT vs Vandy), first playdate, first shopping trip and her first time sitting on Santa's lap. Less than a week after Lily was born we took her out to Maryville, TN to watch the UT vs Mizzu game and spend the night at my parent's house. The next day we took a trip to Kingston, TN for our niece's birthday and Lily got to meet the McFalls side of the family. We had family come into town from Memphis, North Carolina and NYC for Lily's baptism on Thanksgiving morning.

Tailgating with Uncle Ross (in her bear suit)
        Playdate with baby Abby
Best buddies
 The bug mirror
 Cuddle time with daddy
Bonding with Fenway and CJ
After the Baptism with her parents and Godparents
                Auntie Rachel and Lily

Introducing Lillian (Lily) Maury McFalls

Ok so I realize this is over 2 weeks late but cut me some slack.....I'm sleep deprived.

Monday Oct 28th Andy and I welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Lillian Maury McFalls into the world. She arrived 1 day past her due date weighing 7lb 14oz and measuring 20 inches long.

Around 4:30am on Monday I started having contractions. At 5:30am I called Andy (who was working night shift) and at 7:00am we headed to the hospital.....we were stuck behind a school bus for most of the way. After arriving at the hospital, checking in, getting moved to a labor and delivery room, getting an epidural and taking a nap Lily was born at 5:50pm. Everyone was pretty convinced that Lily was a boy up until she came out.
