We're so happy it's spring here.....even if the weather can't make up it's mind. Our big event for March was traveling to Atlanta for the girls spring break. We got to enjoy the zoo (brrrrrr), the world of Coke (YUM), the aquarium (along with everyone else in Atlanta) and the girls favorite......the Harry Potter Exhibit. The girls dressed in their finest Hogwarts robes, were sorted into our houses, had our names added to the Marauder's map, played Quiddich, won points for our houses by doing spells and spent WAY too much money at the gift shop. Lily and I are both Ravenclaw and Clara is a Hufflepuff. While we were in Atlanta we were also able to try indoor skydiving where Clara couldn't keep her lower half in check and kept kicking the instructor in the face while she was flying.
Lily's March update:
While I was a little worried to see how Clara would handle soccer I had no worries about Lily. First of all she played soccer before and secondly she's great at being aggressive during a game. Hands down Lily's favorite part of spring break was the Harry Potter exhibit and she was very excited to get some Ravenclaw items including a scarf, blanket and keychains.
Lily loves:
-Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library
-sleeping in
-The 4th Harry Potter book
Clara's March update:
In March Clara was signed up for cheerleading and soccer. She is very excited to play soccer now since she will be cheering for a peewee football team in the fall. While I was thrilled that she was so excited about soccer I was interested to see how her much she would actually enjoy it. Most of our front yard soccer games (Lily vs Clara and me) devolve into tears and yells of "she pushed me". Fortunately for me she seems to be liking it. I suppose it helps when your sister is playing on your team and not against you.
Clara loves:
-Cheerleading
-playing soccer in the front yard
-playing daycare
-Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library
-drawing
