Every month when I sit down to put together this blog I look through pictures from the last month to remind myself what we did. At times my memory is only slightly better than that of a goldfish. During September I know we were busy. At least I’m pretty sure we were. I have a vague memory of days sitting in sports chairs or on bleachers. Clara finished up with cheer and both of the girls have had several soccer games. Clara is thrilled to be on the pink team (Pink Panthers), Lily is thrilled no to be on the pink team (Blue Shark) and I’m thrilled that between the 2 of them I’m at the soccer field 5 days a week. I just didn’t take a ton of pictures this month...there are only so many photos you need of your in the same position on a soccer field... unless you have a telephoto lens I suppose...otherwise they’re just a colorful blurry dot.
Unfortunately this month we did have to say goodbye to our dog, CJ. He lived a really long and happy life.
Lily’s September Update:
Lily is still enjoying school. This month her school had a fundraiser called the X-games. Clara’s school has a similar fundraiser called Racoon Romp where the kids run laps to raise money. Lily was so excited that for the X-games you can sign up to do different thing (running, rock climbing, cornhole, basketball etc). Lily opted for making soccer goals to raise money.
Clara’s September Updates:
Like last year Clara was sad to finish up her cheer season...especially since one of her good friends was on the squad with her this year. The most exciting thing to happen for Clara is still that she has a new friend across the backyard. It does make it easier to get her to do homework when the reward is getting to play with her friend. It also helps that her friend has the same amount of energy that she does.
