4 Months!!!

Our sweetie pie little girl is 4 months old! Lily is now 12 lbs 6 oz and 23 1/2 in long.

THIS MONTH:

Lily Loves:
-Her fingers (especially her two middle fingers on her left hand...which substitute as a pacifier)
-Her Sophie giraffe teether
-Grabbing at things....some of her favorites include toys, faces and daddy's chest hair (much to daddy's dismay)
-Her Bumbo chair
-Her feet (a very new discovery)
-Watching Baby Einstein videos on mommy's phone.

 Lily Hates:
-Story time before bed (she's a creature of habit and knows that after bath time it is time to eat....not time to read).
-getting her nose suctioned out

Hanging out with Daddy

We started out the beginning of Lily's 3rd month (January 28th) with a snow day. I got a call around 2pm from the daycare saying they were closing early. Luckily, Andy was off work and able to go pick her up. Our next snow day (Feb 13th) we got a lot more snow so I put Lily in her bear snow suit and we went outside. Lily was unimpressed with the snow and more concerned that she couldn't find her hands to suck on them.
Snow Day

This month we got to experience Lily's first illness. She started getting really snotty and had a cough and fever so we made the 5 minute trip to the pediatrician (how convenient) who diagnosed her with RSV and fluid behind her eardrums. A round of amoxicillin and multiple diaper blow outs later Lily is back to her happy, non-sick self.

Lily sneezed on Pop....sorry Pop.
The other day Lily rolled over (from her front to her back). In other news I missed it....even though I was sitting RIGHT THERE!!!! Needless to say every time she does tummy time now I have the camera ready just in case she flips again.

Andy bought Lily a giant stuffed hippo as a Valentine's Day gift with mixed reviews. Lily wasn't sure what to make of it, CJ thought it looked delicious and I was wondering where we would store it. In related news Andy has been asked not to bring any more giant stuffed animals into the house until she's old enough to enjoy them.
Lily's new mode of transportation: Hippo

The BIGGEST news this month is that my sister and her husband welcomed identical twin girls (Hazel and Beatrice) into the world on Feb 12th. Everyone is doing well. Every time we Skype with them they say that Lily looks gigantic compared to the girls.

Here are some other pictures from this month:
All dressed up for date night.

Bring your nose a little closer so I can grab it.
