This has been a busy month for the McFalls family. We've had a house guest, gone to a wedding, started football season/ tailgating, bought a car, taken trips around Knoxville and Andy and I went on a "babymoon"/ anniversary trip. I'm exhausted.
THIS MONTH:
Lily Loves:
-playing dress up
-playing in the sandbox
-smoothies
-washing the dishes
-wearing sunglasses
-wearing slippers or rain boots
-wearing drink koozies as bracelets
-telling us that she has pushed people or things. So far these have included her friends at school, Nana, bunnies, her great grandma (that she's never met...let alone pushed) and CJ's poop.
Lily Hates:
-the wind when it blows her hair
-fireworks at the UT games
-letting mommy fix her hair
Favorite words
-"Tum on Mommy/ Daddy/ CJ" (this is always accompanied by a hand motion so we'll get up and follow her)
-"Lily what does Daddy call you?" "Subber Bear" (Sugar bear)
-"I high five Fokie" (she has high-fived Smokey twice and has told EVERYONE about it)
-She also has very interesting prayer requests every night. These have included: socks, drinks, boo boos, and the potty.
The beginning of this month we headed down to Chattanooga to buy a van (YAY!!!!!) We decided a while ago that with (soon to be) 2 kids, all the stuff that kids require, a dog and a post in the middle of our garage (that wouldn't let us open the back car doors fully) that a van was in our future. Lily enjoys climbing around the van and pushing all the buttons.
After the van purchase was complete we had lunch at Dairy Queen. Of course Lily had some ice cream and by the time we left she was squealing, running in circles around Dairy Queen and announcing to complete strangers that she went "pee pee potty".
That next weekend football season started and with it came tailgating. Let me just say tailgating has sure changed a lot. Now it includes toddler arts and crafts, crayons and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the iPad. Lily was very excited to find out that she is at eye level with the food table and was constantly pointing out what cookies or brownies she wanted. My mom took her over to watch the band walk by (Lily calls them "my band" and gets very upset if they walk away or leave the field) and she also got to high five Smokey (the dressed up mascot...not the dog).

The next day we headed to the Tennessee Valley Fair. Lily loved petting all the animals but was less than thrilled with the chickens (they were a little loud).
When I show this picture to Lily she says "Tow eat my shoe"
The only ride Lily was big enough to go on was the carousel and I promise she enjoyed riding on the "up down horsey"....even if she doesn't look happy in the pictures.
Lily and I then headed down to Chattanooga with our friends for a sorority sister's wedding. I'm pretty sure we provided a lot of entertainment for the other guests during the reception. The girls would NOT say seated and after some sugar we were having to tag team to keep them off the stage, out of the bathroom and away from the DJ booth.
