THIS MONTH:
Lily Loves:
-finger foods
-her car walker
-chasing CJ in her car walker
-reading "lift the flap" books
-Sesame Street (Thank God for those Muppets when I'm trying to get dinner ready)
Lily Hates:
-waiting for food
-getting her diaper changed (She tries to roll over, I tell her "NO" in my mean mommy voice and she laughs at me.)
August has been a pretty relaxed month. After traveling so much of the past few months it was nice to stay home. Early in the month we had some visitors in the form of my mother in law, nieces and nephews. They really enjoyed playing with CJ until Lily woke up from her nap...then they ignored CJ. Sorry CJ.

We've done more play dates with Lily's friends Lolly and Abby.
I always love the result of play dates.
We also had a baby dinner party with 2 of our couple friends and their babies. Needless to say it was controlled chaos...like a mini tornado of cuteness hit our house and distributed toys all around the living room.
This month Lily started wearing footie pjs to bed and I managed to capture the adorableness.
Lily has also learned how to drink out of my tervis tumbler cup.
We might need to work a little more on this one.
We had one bad night when Lily got vaccinations, was teething and had sudden separation anxiety. The night started off like this:
And ended like this. After that night we started sleep training and the next night she was asleep after 20 minutes.
Lily is getting excited for UT football season and wearing her orange and white. She gets to go to the first tailgate/ game on Aug 31st!!
